Guided Work with Animal Assistance
The main 2 year course
Learn the fundamentals of Guided Work with the assistance of animals in order to create a customized program both in terms of content and context.
the extra module
Methodology: Preparing a dog for a therapeutic context ( One year 10 lessons).
Extra counseling
Extra counseling for institutions and setting needing my counseling when they want to
integrate animals in the settings ( just a once or twice visit )
The program
The training will pay particular attention to:
- The underlying ecocentric vision
- The creation of a new counseling context in which both humans and animals can thrive and recover.
- The use of narrative elements and therapeutic mirrors
- The conscious and purposeful contextual use of nature elements in a counseling process
- Selection and management of animals. Enrichment of collective and individual habitat.
- Human and animal health and safety criteria.
- Legal criteria.
